Why Choose Divorce Mediation?
No one knows better than you what’s best for your family. Create an agreement that works for your future.

What Is Divorce Mediation?

Mediation is a confidential and voluntary process in which a couple works through the details of their divorce with the help of a Mediator. The Mediator helps identify the issues and facilitates discussions around the division of marital property, a detailed parenting plan, spousal and child support, and other matters the couple must resolve. Through collaboration, mediation often results in a mutually developed agreement that serves as a foundation for the future and creates a clear path forward.

What are the differences between a litigated divorce versus an uncontested mediated divorce? What are the financial impacts? How does it impact children in the family? Matt and Marya also discuss the role of a mediator versus the role of an attorney in the divorce process.

Divorce Without a Lawyer, If You Choose

In a traditional, litigated divorce, you hand over control of your divorce process to your lawyers, a judge and the court system. You will have input throughout the process, but ultimately, the outcome of your divorce will be decided by a judge based on arguments made by your lawyers.

In a mediated divorce, you’re in control. Divorce is already stressful enough, so we complete most of the required paperwork for you. In most cases, you will never have to step foot in court. We help you create an agreement that works for your family in language that you understand. Divorce is hard. It doesn’t have to be difficult.

Customize the Process to Fit Your Needs

Need weekend or evening sessions? No problem. Want to have your lawyers present at your sessions? Sure. Thinking of reconciling? We can hit the pause button.

Plus, we think you’ll quickly find that a mediation session in our office is much more casual and less intimidating than the stress and rigidity of a courtroom setting. And if you’d prefer to attend sessions from the comfort of your home, we also offer online divorce mediation services.
